Arbor Heights PTA Project Ideas


The Arbor Heights PTA collects ideas for projects to fund each school year. Anyone can submit ideas and you can submit as many as you like. New for the 2011-2012 school year, the PTA is conducting a survey to help guide funding choices for the 2012-2013 school year. The results of the survey will be shared with the PTA members in early 2012. It will be based upon the survey results and project idea forms that the PTA Board will present to the general membership and vote which projects to fund for the upcoming school year. Only 2011-2012 PTA members can vote and you must be present at the meeting to vote. Be sure to turn in your PTA membership form with payment in advance.

Example Project Idea from 2008 – Add ¼ day Instrumental Music

We currently offer 1 day of instrumental music for 4th and 5th grade students and the school district only pays for half. Continue to “partially” fund instrumental music. Dr. Reineke needs $3,500 to pay for ¼ day of instruction.
Estimated cost of project: $3,500.00
